Bio
Peter Green (a.k.a. Petebow)
Alias: Petebow
Location: Washington, D.C.
Background
I hail from the dynamic and culturally rich streets of Washington, D.C., where my artistic journey began in the vibrant atmosphere of the 1980s. My work is deeply rooted in a project I initiated called Go Go Graffiti, which embodies my commitment to uplifting and nurturing the creative talents of young individuals in the community.
This initiative draws significant inspiration from the iconic Cool Disco Dan, whose influence has been a driving force behind my artistic expression.
Artistic Focus
My art represents a distinctive blend of personal narrative and the diverse cultural fabric that defines D.C. I specialize in crafting wearable art, transforming everyday items such as shirts and pants into striking canvases that showcase my unique vision.
Each piece I create is an invitation for individuals to wear a part of the vibrant story that is D.C.
Mission Statement
My mission is to make art accessible and meaningful to everyone, ensuring that each creation resonates with the wearer and encapsulates the essence of D.C.'s spirit. I strive to imbue my work with elements that are visually captivating while remaining deeply rooted in the community and its traditions.
